Daniel Radcliffe apologises to fans for Comic-Con no-show

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has apologised to fans for not attending this year's Comic-Con convention. Radcliffe, who has just turned 21, couldn't make the San Diego-based event because he was in Russia celebrating his birthday.
He told US newspaper the LA Times: 'I apologise to all the wishful thinkers for my disappointing non-presence. 'I've never done the Comic-Con thing and I really, really want to experience that.'
But the actor revealed that he had an incredible time in Russia.He said: 'It was fantastic, I was in St Petersburg for my birthday, which is probably the most beautiful, the most incredible, wonderful place I've ever been in my life.
'It really is absolutely amazing, I went with two friends and it was brilliant.' Talking about co-star Tom Felton’s recent revelation that he had cried while filming the last scenes of the wizard franchise, he said:
'You know what, I'd love to libel him [Felton] and call it a lie, but, darn, he's absolutely right. 'We all three of us – me, and Emma [Watson] – we just wept.' He added: 'And I've never seen [co-star] Rupert Grint cry – that was really weird.'
