Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe spent two days in a hospital last week after suffering a severe case of food poisoning. The 20-year-old actor contracted a bug while working in the US and was admitted in a New York medical facility to be treated for dehydration, reported Sun online.

Radcliffe had caught a flight home to the UK on Saturday and reportedly filled in fellow passengers with the details about his embarrassing stomach upset.

"He looked as white as a sheet. He said he felt like he was going to die and had spent most of his time on the toilet," said a co-passenger. The actor had been in the country to support the Trevor Project, a non-profit US suicide prevention charity which works with young gay and transgender people.

Hollywood actor Daniel Radcliffe says he didn't enjoy filming the climactic scene of Harry Potter because he was under lot of pressure to make the scene right.

"It was really hard. It was one of those scenes where by the third day of it we were going - I don't know if I like this one as much as I did in the beginning. It was really, really tough,".

The scenes in the film where Harry goes into the forest to face Voldemort took a handful of days to film and Radcliffe says he was so desperate to get it right that he found it tough.

In the summer of 2009, while Daniel Radcliffe was in New York promoting the release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," he admitted to MTV News that he was "dreading" eventually filming one climactic scene in "Deathly Hallows," the two-part finale of the boy-wizard series:

Harry's final walk into the forest to face off against Lord Voldemort. More than six months later, that scene is behind the 20-year-old actor, but getting it right took days worth of shooting  and a whole lot of anxiety.

Apparently there are all sorts of internet users currently discussing Daniel's possible gayness. He went on: "My favourite thing I saw was a guy on the internet who said, 'Of course he's gay – he's got a gay face,' which I thought was kind of an odd thing to say anyway.

"A gay face? That's a very worrying thing, like they have sat at home with pictures of me next to other famous gay folks." More than likely, Daniel. However, it appears Mr Radcliffe may be having second thoughts about his previous statement: "Some people think I am gay, which I think is awesome.

He's faced dementors, Lucius Malfoy and Lord Voldemort himself, so why should Harry Potter's alter ego, Daniel Radcliffe, worry about a stupid little rumor about his sexual orientation?

I think we now know what Daniel Radcliffe is going to do when he gets through with the final Harry Potter films in the next month or two. It would seem that he and Lily Rabe have been cast in Doug McGrath’s upcoming The Lucky Ones, adapted from the novel by Nicholas Sparks. After his tour is done and he returns to America, he sets off on a journey to track down the woman in his photograph. She’s Elizabeth, a young mother who is now divorced, and I suppose it’s inevitable she’ll begin an affair with Thibault at some point, seeing as who wrote the story and all.

Daniel Radcliffe doesn't need a wand, cloak or even his clothes, say Britain's theatre reviewers after Radcliffe's West End debut in a lead role in the Peter Shaffer play, Equus, on Tuesday night.

"Forget all the prurient press speculation about Harry Potter's private parts," wrote Michael Billington in.
